Enapter wins order of 101 AEM electrolysers

Enapter AG, a German electrolyser manufacturer has secured an order for 101 electrolysers from Enoah, a Japanese fuel cell manufacturer. The electrolysers will be installed in power-to-power applications and refuelling stations. According to the company, the AEM Electrolysers EL 4.0 will be delivered in different phases, beginning at the end of the third quarter of 2023 and continuing through the first quarter of 2024.

Bila Solar invests $35million in 1 GW solar module facility in US

Bila Solar, a Singapore based solar module manufacturer is investing $35m on a plant in Indianapolis, Indiana, which has the capacity to produce 1 GW of glassless, frameless solar modules. It plans to renovate an existing 150,000ft² facility at White River Parkway East Drive, Indianapolis. The plant, which is anticipated to be fully operational in summer 2024.

Germany launches 190 MW rooftop solar and 288-MW biomass tenders

The Federal Network Agency of Germany has opened tenders for 190.11 MW of rooftop solar capacity and 287.85 MW of biomass-fired power plants. The bid submission deadline for both auctions is October 2. The maximum bid price for rooftop solar systems is set at $ 0.122 per kWh. This is the final auction round for solar installations on buildings and noise barriers for 2023.

European Energy unveils 65 MW solar plant in Lithuania

European Energy, a Danish renewable energy company, is aiming to set up a 65 MW solar project in the municipality of Anyksciai, Lithuania. The new facility is anticipated to go into operation in fourth quarter, 2023. The project will cover more than 120 acres, with more than 140,000 solar panels, and produce 90,000 MWh yearly. Renewable Energy Investment Hits Record-Breaking $358 Billion in 1H 2023

Global new investment in renewable energy skyrocketed to $358 billion in the first six months of 2023, a 22% rise compared to the start of last year and an all-time high for any six-month period. US Investigation on Circumvention Enquiries of Solar Cells and Modules from China

On August 18, 2023, the US Department of Commerce issued its final affirmative determinations that solar cells and modules completed in Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, or Vietnam using components from China, and exported to the United States, are circumventing the antidumping duty and countervailing duty orders on solar cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China. Duties will not be collected on imports before June 2024, because of a temporary duty suspension ordered by President Biden.

Nordex receives Turkish order to supply 189 MW turbines

Nordex, a German wind turbine manufacturer, has received an order to supply 189 MW turbines for three wind projects from Rönesans Enerji. A ten-year period service agreement is entailed in the contract. The N163/6.X turbines from Nordex will be used for the projects, which were chosen in the YEKA RES-3 tender. On the behalf  of Rönesans Enerji, Heitkamp Industrial Solutions is the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor.
