TotalEnergies and Casa dos Ventos to build renewable energy portfolio in Brazil

TotalEnergies, a French energy company, and Casa dos Ventos, a Brazilian renewable energy producer, have formed a joint venture (JV) to develop, build, and operate a 12 GW renewable portfolio in Brazil. The JV will have a 66 per cent stake held by CDV and a 34 per cent stake held by TotalEnergies.

Galp acquires 4.8 GW of renewable energy projects in Brazil

Galp, a multinational energy corporation headquartered in Portugal, has agreed to purchase 4.8 GW of solar and wind energy projects in Brazil from SER Energia and Casa dos Ventos. The agreement with SER Energia, a Brazilian solar designer, encompasses the purchase of 4.6 GWp of projects currently under construction in Brazil. Galp will acquire a group of 216 MW wind farms being developed in Brazil’s north-east region with Casa dos Ventos.
