Siemens Gamesa to supply wind turbines for Vena Energy

Siemens Gamesa, a Spanish wind turbine manufacturer, has received an order from Vena Energy, a Singapore-based company, to deliver wind turbines for a 133 MW wind project in Karnataka, India. As per the agreement, Siemens Gamesa will supply 37 of its 3.X platform turbines, known as SG 3.6-145, for the project. The turbines would be manufactured at Siemens Gamesa’s facilities in India, and installation work at the site is slated to begin in 2023.

Vestas wins turbine supply contract for wind park in Brazil

Vestas, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has won a contract to supply and install wind turbines for the 423 MW Novo Horizonte wind park in Brazil from Pan American Energy Energias Renováveis. The wind farm, which is located in the Brazilian state of Bahia, will receive 94 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines from the company.
