Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in Southeast Asia and India, has entered a long-term solar partnership with Coats in Indonesia to develop a 540 kWp rooftop solar PV project at their facility in Pasuruan, East Java. Cleantech Solar will provide the end-to-end solar solution along with guaranteeing the performance of the system. The solar PV system consists of 990 solar modules and is expected to generate approximately 16 GWh of clean energy during the system’s lifetime, amounting to a reduction of over 13 kilotonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. Reportedly, this project will enable coats to substitute a part of their power consumption with renewable energy at zero capital investment.

Headquartered in Singapore, Cleantech Solar has numerous solar power plants across India and Southeast Asia, covering over 750 MW across the various stages of operations and construction with many more solar and wind projects under development. This includes installations in India, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

In April 2023, Cleantech Solar announced the signing of 25 MW of wind projects for global industrial manufacturers at its upcoming wind parks in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, the customers would procure power from these wind parks on a captive basis to meet energy requirements at their manufacturing facilities in the respective states.
