Emeren Group Ltd has signed a collaborative development contract with Nuveen’s Glennmont Partners for 155 MW (up to 1.24 GWh of capacity) of battery storage projects in two Southern Italian regions.
As part of their collaboration, Glennmont and Emeren will work together to create two independent battery storage projects in Southern Italy’s Campania region. Glennmont and Emeren will jointly construct a portfolio of projects in Campania and Puglia with a total capacity surpassing 150 MWp as part of the acquisition. The development phase of these projects is expected to start in late 2025, with operations starting in early 2027.
