UAB Renerga, a developer of wind energy projects in Lithuania has chosen Nordex Group to supply 40 N163/6.X turbines. The Delta4000 series turbines are projected for the 264 MW Pagegiai wind farm project in the west of the country. Additionally, the contract also comprises a Premium Service contract.
The infrastructure works are expected to begin in June 2024, meanwhile the delivery and installation of the turbines is planned to start in spring 2025. The Nordex Group will install the turbines on tubular steel towers – 29 with hub heights of 118 metres and 11 with hub heights of 113 metres. The completion of the wind farm is scheduled in 2026.
In August 2023, Nordex received an order to supply 189 MW turbines for three wind projects from Rönesans Enerji. A ten-year period service agreement is entailed in the contract. The N163/6.X turbines from Nordex will be used for the projects, which were chosen in the YEKA RES-3 tender.
