CEE Group, a Hamburg-based renewable assets manager, and solar developer Goldbeck Solar have completed the 154.7 MW Döllen solar park in Brandenburg’s Prignitz region. The solar project was activated by symbolically attaching a ‘green plug’ to the power grid. It will produce 160,000 megawatt hours of renewable energy each year, enough to power 36,000 four-person households. The project was developed by Goldbeck Solar in collaboration with Antilike Solar, a company based in Elmenhorst/Lichtenhagen, on a former agricultural area in Döllen, municipality of Gumtow, district of Prignitz.

It was funded by DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing. Astronergy supplied the project with panels. The regional distribution system operator E DIS Netz maintains the grid and distributes the generated electricity into it. In Schönhagen, a transformer station has also been constructed to aid the project. Engie has agreed to finance the Döllen solar park project through a power purchase agreement.

In July 2023, Statkraft won a tender from the German regulatory authority, the Federal Network Agency, to build a solar plus battery storage project in the German municipality of Zerbst. In May 2023, the federal authority issued the tenders, which had a 400 MW maximum production. Statkraft had applied for a tender for a co-located solar plant with a connected battery on the site of a former gravel pit.
