Masdar, Hassan Allam and Infinity Power sign agreement to build a 10 GW wind project in Egypt

Masdar, along with its Dutch joint venture company Infinity Power and Hassan Allam Utilities, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Egypt’s Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy to construct a 10 GW onshore wind project in Egypt. The project will be able to generate 47,790 GWh of clean energy annually as part of the country’s Green Corridor strategy, displacing 23.8 million tonnes of carbon emissions.

Hydro Rein, Commerz Real to develop 362 MW solar projects in Denmark

Hydro Rein, a provider of renewable energy solutions, and Commerz Real have decided to establish a joint venture with equal ownership in order to acquire and develop two early-phase solar projects in Jylland, Denmark, with a combined capacity of 362 MW.
