ib vogt divests 272 MWp Irish solar portfolio

ib vogt has completed the sale of a 272 MWp solar portfolio in Ireland for a total enterprise value of approximately €230 million. The portfolio comprises three utility-scale projects: Gaskinstown with a capacity of 94.7 MWp in County Meath, Rathnaskilloge with a capacity of 107.7 MWp in County Waterford, and Clonin North with a capacity of 69.4 MWp in County Offaly. The assets were developed by Highfield Solar, an ib vogt’s joint venture.

ib vogt sells 110 MWp Pato solar farm in Spain

ib vogt has completed the sale of the Pato solar farm to NextPower V ESG. The Pato solar farm is a 110 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Segovia, Spain. The solar farm generates around 215 GWh of clean electricity annually. The project benefits from a secured long-term power purchase agreement with an industrial technology innovator. Furthermore, the solar farm is equipped with bifacial solar panels with tracking mounts for enhanced efficiency and generation.

ib vogt inaugurates 513.1 MWp solar projects in Spain

ib vogt has inaugurated the Segovia Cluster situated in the Segovia region of Spain. The Segovia Cluster consists of four utility-scale photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 513.1 MWp. The plants are the Serbal solar plant with a capacity of 174 MWp, the Castaño solar plant with a capacity of 134 MWp, the Pato solar plant with a capacity of 110 MWp, and the Baobab solar plant with a capacity of 95.1 MWp.

Iberdrola to build 245 MW solar plant in Italy

Iberdrola has signed an agreement with IB Vogt for the construction of a 245 MW photovoltaic project in Sicily, to which a further 60 MW could be added, bringing the total to 305 MW. In any case, the initial project has sufficient capacity to cover the needs of more than 140,000 families with emission-free green energy, which is a population similar to that of Catania.

ib vogt to sell 98.4 MW of Italian projects to Rubis Photosol

Ib Vogt, a German solar developer, has agreed to sell its 98.4MW solar portfolio to Rubis Photosol, a French solar energy producer, for an unknown sum. The solar portfolio contains ten photovoltaic and agrivoltaic plants in Italy’s Lazio area. ib vogt solely funded the portfolio, then developed it along with two joint venture partners, Christoph Drewes Energieberatung and Hans Karl Pichler.

ERG to acquire a 149 MW Spanish solar plant from ib vogt

ERG Spain, a subsidiary of energy company ERG, has agreed to buy Garnacha Solar, a 149 MW solar plant, from ib vogt’s subsidiary IBV Solar Parks. ERG stated that the transaction was valued at around €170 million, with an equity value of €80.5 million. By the third quarter of 2023, the transaction is anticipated to be completed. The 149 MW solar facility is being built in Castilla and León, in northwest Spain, and is currently at an advanced level of development.

DIF Capital and ib vogt to acquire renewable portfolio in the UK

DIF Capital Partners and ib vogt, a German construction company, have agreed to purchase a 100 per cent share in a 720 MW solar and battery project portfolio in the UK. The portfolio will be purchased from Enso Green Holdings (EGHL), a Cero Generation and Enso Energy joint company with headquarters in the UK. It consists of seven project sites, with battery storage making up the remaining 340 MW of its 380 MW capacity.

ACEN and ib vogt partner to develop solar power projects across Asia 

ACEN, a power company based in the Philippines, and ib vogt, a German engineering firm, have agreed to enter into a joint venture (JV) to fund the construction and operation of nearly 1 GW of solar power facilities across the Asia-Pacific region. The proposed JV will operate in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries in the region to develop shovel-ready and late-stage projects.
