Invenergy and Meta expand partnership with new renewable energy agreements 

Invenergy and Meta have inked four agreements to supply an additional 791 MW of procured solar and wind energy. The agreements will deliver near-term energy to support Meta’s operations, data center growth, and clean energy goals. The agreements are contracted through four Invenergy developed facilities, which are the 300 MW Yellow Wood Solar Energy Center, 140 MW Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center, and 155 MW Decoy Solar Energy Center.

Invenergy commences operations of 250 MW solar project in Ohio

Invenergy has commenced operations of the Hardin III solar energy center. The project has a capacity of 250 MW and is situated in Hardin County, Ohio. WEC Energy Group is the majority owner of the solar facility. Additionally, Microsoft will purchase the electricity and renewable energy credits generated at the facility through a power purchase agreement. The solar facility is expected to generate $180 million of new investment in Hardin County.

Invenergy commences commercial operations of Sauk Valley Hydrogen project in Illinois

Invenergy has reached the commercial operations of the Sauk Valley Hydrogen facility. This is a 5 acre clean hydrogen project situated in Rock Falls, Illinois. This hydrogen facility will utilise power from Invenergy’s co-located solar facility and Ohmium International’s electrolyser technology. Furthermore, using Invenergy’s co-located solar and electrolyser facility, the green hydrogen plant can produce up to 40 metric tonnes of clean hydrogen annually.

Invenergy reaches financial close for 590 MW solar projects 

Invenergy has secured a $1.1 billion debt financing facility for three utility-scale solar projects in Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee. This financing package includes a construction/bridge loan facility and a letter of credit facility. The projects that this financing applies to are the Cadence Solar Energy Center (240 MW) in Ohio, the Trade Post Solar Energy Center (200 MW) in Indiana, and the Yum Yum Solar Energy Center (150 MW) in Tennessee, which are currently under construction.

Invenergy, a global developer, owner and operator of sustainable energy solutions and GE Renewable Energy, have announced commercial operations for the 998 MW Traverse Wind Energy Center, the largest wind farm constructed in a single phase in North America. Located in north central Oklahoma, Traverse joins the operational 199 MW Sundance Wind Energy Center and the 287 MW Maverick Wind Energy Center.

Invenergy secures $3 billion investment from Blackstone

North America’s leading private renewable energy company Invenergy Renewables has secured an equity investment worth approximately $3 billion from Blackstone. According to a press release, funds managed by Blackstone Infrastructure Partners have entered into a definitive agreement with Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Invenergy for the said investment.
