Yunlin offshore wind farm begins commercial operations in Taiwan
The Yunlin offshore wind farm of the Yunneng Wind Power Co. Ltd. has started commercial operations with an installed capacity of 640 MW. The project comprises 80 wind turbine generators. It is located in the Taiwan Strait, 8 to 17 km off the west coast. The wind farm has obtained the required electricity business licences, complied with regulatory requirements, and met contractual obligations under its financing agreement.
