Stargate Hydrogen has inaugurated its new factory, which is dedicated to the production of alkaline electrolysis stacks and systems in Estonia. In the first phase, the factory can deliver 140 MW of alkaline electrolysers annually. This can be increased to over 1 GW with the help of minor additional investments. The project has been co-funded by the Republic of Estonia through the revenue from the emissions trading scheme.

Nordex Group, a German wind turbine manufacturer, has received a turbine order from Enefit Green for a 255 MW onshore wind cluster in Estonia. As part of the agreement, Nordex will provide 38 of its N163/6.X wind turbines to the Tootsi, Sopi I, and Sopi II wind farms.
