The proposed investment exceeds €250 million and is aimed at supporting rising offshore wind demand across the UK and Europe. The facility is expected to manufacture nacelles and hubs for the V236-15.0 MW offshore wind turbine platform. Additionally, Vestas will assess opportunities to co-locate key component suppliers alongside the facility.

Equinor acquires 230 MW wind project from Vestas in Brazil
