Vestas has sold a 656 MW wind portfolio to PLT Energia, an Italian renewable energy producer. Rothschild & Co. acted as the sole financial adviser to Vestas, while L & B acted as its legal advisor in the acquisition process. Reportedly, Bonelli-Erede acted as a legal advisor and Fichtner as a technical advisor for PLT Energia.

In September 2023, Vestas was awarded the order to supply turbines with a total capacity of 243 MW from RWE for an undisclosed project in the US. Reportedly, Vestas will provide 54 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines, each of which will be mounted on a tower with a hub height of 98 metres.

Vestas Development has around 30 GW of wind capacity in the pipeline and has already secured more than 6.5 GW of firm projects from development activities. By developing new renewable energy assets, Vestas helps accelerate the transition to clean energy while bringing significant benefits to local communities through the creation of green jobs and economic development.
