Actis has completed the sale of Orygen, a diversified power generation company in Peru, to Grupo Romero through an affiliate managed by InfraCorp, the group’s energy and infrastructure investment platform. Orygen is a power generation platform in Peru with an installed capacity of 2.3 GW. Its portfolio includes wind and solar assets accounting for 28 per cent of capacity, hydro representing 34 per cent, and thermal gas assets contributing 38 per cent.
In February 2026, Zelestra began construction of the 242 MWdc Babilonia solar project in Peru. It will involve the installation of approximately 394,000 bifacial solar modules. Commercial operations are scheduled to commence in the first half of 2027. The development has been secured under a long-term power purchase agreement with Celepsa.
In March 2025, Actis acquired full ownership of Stride Climate Investments, a solar generation asset portfolio in India, from a Macquarie Asset Management-managed fund. Through this acquisition, Actis now controls Stride’s 371 MW/414 MWp operational solar assets, spread across 21 projects in seven states.
