Uniper and Arcadia eFuels have signed a binding agreement for the offtake of 40,000 tonnes of eSAF annually from Arcadia’s Project Endor in Denmark. The project, located in Vordingborg, is expected to begin supplying the fuel from the early 2030s, subject to agreed conditions and commercial operations. Arcadia’s eSAF will be produced using renewable electricity, green hydrogen and captured carbon dioxide, delivering up to 98 per cent lower lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional jet fuel and is also compatible with the EU ReFuelEU Aviation framework.
In July 2026, Uniper and Respect Energy signed 6-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for renewable electricity and guarantees of origin (GoOs) from four new solar projects. The projects include the Pakość, Kłodawa, Domanowo, and Krotoszyce solar facilities, all located in Poland. These projects have a combined installed capacity of 219 MWp. Under the agreement, Respect Energy will purchase both the solar electricity and its associated renewable energy certificates (GoOs).
In June 2026, Uniper and Skyborn Renewables signed a long-term PPA for 100 MW of capacity from the Gennaker offshore wind project in Germany. The project has a planned capacity of up to 976.5 MW and is expected to generate enough electricity to supply approximately one million households annually. The agreement will continue initially for a period of 10 years, with an extension option.
