Arevon Energy has commenced operations of the Nighthawk battery energy storage system (BESS) project. The project is located in Poway, California. The project has an installed capacity of 300 MW/1,200 MWh. The project uses lithium iron phosphate battery technology. The project can provide enough energy to power up to 385,000 homes for up to four hours duration. Furthermore, Arevon developed, constructed, owns and operates the project under a long-term agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
In March 2026, Arevon Energy commenced construction of the 250 MW/1,000 MWh Cormorant energy storage project in Daly City, California. The project involves an investment of approximately $600 million. The company will own and operate the project, which is scheduled to become operational in 2027. Once completed, it is expected to supply electricity to around 321,000 homes for up to four hours.
In March 2026, Arevon Energy commenced operations at the 430 MWdc Kelso solar project located in Scott County, Missouri. The project is valued at more than $500 million. The project was developed and constructed by Arevon. The two-phase project can power more than 62,000 homes annually.
