BYD Company Limited, a Chinese batteries and electric vehicles manufacturer, aims to boost solar photovoltaic panel production in Brazil to introduce new 450W models. According to the company, this is being done to meet the rising market needs. The new equipment, will have an efficiency of 20.9 per cent and may be used for domestic systems, agribusiness alternatives, industrial, industrial and off-grid generation.
To make room for the new type, the business would likely reduce production of the 335 W P6K polycrystalline and 395 W M7K monocrystalline photovoltaic modules. BYD, on the other hand, has increased its stock of these modules to avoid problems or disasters during the authorisation and arrangement phases of projects.
According to BYD Energy do Brasil, BYD’s subsidiary in Brazil, orders for P6K will be accepted till August 31, 2021, while orders for M7K will be accepted until September 30, 2021. BYD, located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, is a prominent Chinese carmaker. BYD began as a battery manufacturer in 1995 and moved into the vehicle sector in 2003.
