Capital Dynamics, an independent global private asset management company, has closed its latest clean energy fund with capital commitments totaling $508 million. Capital Dynamics Clean Energy Infrastructure IX (CEI IX) exceeded its $293 million target by approximately 75 per cent. The Fund secured capital commitments from a large, globally diverse investor base of new and existing investors from pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and high-net-worth individuals, across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Capital Dynamics has been investing directly in clean energy in Europe since 2013 and currently owns and operates over 30 projects with a combined capacity of over 1 GW.  In August 2021, Capital Dynamics announced that members of its US Clean Energy Infrastructure team would join forces with Arevon Asset Management, its energy asset management subsidiary, to establish Arevon Energy, Inc.
