Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in Southeast Asia and India, has powered up two rooftop solar PV systems with a total system capacity of 755 kWp at the company headquarters of United E & P Pte. Ltd. at First Lok Yang Road, Singapore. In Singapore, United E & P is one of the main makers of all-in-one asphalt premix and a leading manufacturer of construction materials.
It is anticipated that this long-term solar cooperation between Cleantech Solar and United E & P would generate about 14 GWh of clean energy throughout the duration of the project, resulting in a reduction of almost 6 kilo tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. Cleantech Solar is the project’s turnkey solar solution provider, having financed, planned, and built the system, which will also be operated and maintained by Cleantech Solar throughout the agreement’s term.
In September 2022, Cleantech Solar signed a contract for a 1.8 MWp rooftop solar PV system at Bell Textron Asia (Pte) Ltd’s plant at Seletar Aerospace Park, Singapore. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of American conglomerate Textron. Under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA), Cleantech Solar would provide full turnkey financing, designing, installation, maintenance, and operation of the PV system.
