Greenzo Energy India Limited (GEIL) has partnered with France’s EODev (Energy Observer Developments) to introduce EODev’s hydrogen fuel cell power generator, the GEH2, in India and Nepal. The generators use Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell technology, marking its first introduction in South Asia.
The partnership includes distribution, maintenance services, and plans for local assembly of EODev’s products, targeting sectors such as agriculture, telecom, and transportation. These generators aim to replace diesel-based alternatives, aligning with India’s efforts to reduce fossil fuel use. The collaboration supports the ‘Make in India’ initiative by promoting local manufacturing and job creation in green technology sectors.
The agreement integrates Greenzo Energy’s expertise in electrolyser production with EODev’s hydrogen power solutions, contributing to the development of India’s hydrogen energy infrastructure. This initiative is expected to aid in the transition to zero-emission energy systems and support India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission.
