Jakson Engineers Limited is planning to invest over Rs 80 billion to establish a 6 GW integrated solar module, cell and wafer plant at Maksi Phase II, Madhya Pradesh, India. The manufacturing plant will be developed in two phases across a 110-acre site. In Phase I, the manufacturing capacity of  3 GW of solar modules and 3 GW of solar cells will be commissioned with an investment of approximately Rs 20 billion.

Furthermore, Phase-II will entail setting up of 6 GW solar wafers plant along with an extra 3 GW capacity each for solar module and cell at an investment exceeding Rs 60 billion. Additionally, the first solar modules are anticipated to be rolled out by May 2026, and cells are anticipated to be rolled out in September 2026.

Earlier in February, Jakson Engineers Limited supplied 100 MW of solar PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited.
