LONGi Hydrogen has signed an equipment supply agreement to deliver one set of its ALK Hi1 electrolyser along with the balance of plant (BoP) for the project for a green hydrogen project in Namibia. The project is scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2027.

It will support decarbonisation across multiple sectors, including road transport such as trucks and buses, rail through locomotives, off-road equipment like tractors, off-grid power generation through gensets, and maritime activities including port vessels.

The equipment package will meet CE marking and other international regulatory and safety standards. Additionally, it will incorporate an integrated IGBT power supply system that provides high efficiency, low harmonic distortion, and fast dynamic response. This is expected to lower energy use and reduce operational costs.

The company will extend support across the full project chain, covering design, equipment delivery, and onsite implementation. It will work in close coordination with the customer to ensure smooth execution and stable operation of the project.
