Matrix Renewables has begun commercial operations of the 281 MWdc Stillhouse Solar PV project in Bell County, Texas, alongside ITC funding and long-term debt conversion. The project represents an investment of over $380 million and includes 15-year PPAs with affiliates of Hyundai Motor Group. The project will help supply clean energy to roughly 48,862 households.

Additionally, the project is expected to offset 185,598 metric tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Key partners include Northleaf Capital as the minority investor and Acadia Infrastructure for environmental attribute transactions. Financing was supported by MUFG, HSBC, and ING Capital LLC, along with SOLV Energy serving as EPC and community program partner.

In December 2025, Meta entered into a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with ENGIE to offtake the entire output from a 600 MW solar project in US. The agreement pertains to ENGIE’s Swenson Ranch solar farm, located in Stonewall County, Texas, which is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027. Under the PPA, Meta will source 100 per cent of the electricity generated from the project to power its data center operations across the US.
