Neoen has secured $1.8 billion in debt financing from 13 Australian and international lenders to support a 1.2 GW renewable energy portfolio in Australia. The portfolio includes two wind farms, two battery storage projects (BESS) and one solar farm across South Australia, New South Wales and Western Australia.

The assets include the 150 MW/193.5 MWh Hornsdale Power Reserve, 209 MW Goyder South Wind Farm Stage 1A, 440 MWp Culcairn Solar Farm, 215 MW/963 MWh Culcairn Battery and 179 MW Narrogin Wind Farm. Furthermore, the financing brings Neoen’s total debt financing raised in Australia since 2024 to more than $5 billion. The funding covers 4.7 GW of combined capacity across 20 wind, solar and battery storage assets in several Australian states.

Earlier, in June 2026, Neoen was awarded a 20-year capacity services contract from the Independent Electricity System Operator for a 200 MW/1,600 MWh BESS project in Ontario. The project was awarded through Ontario’s Long-Term 2 Capacity Services procurement process. The project will provide 190 MW of capacity services over an eight-hour duration.
