Origis Energy has announced the commissioning and commencement of operations of three Swift Air Solar plants in Texas. The projects were executed in three phases, with the final phase delivered in late 2025. The projects are located in Ector County and have a combined capacity of 500 MWdc.

Origis undertook the planning, development, and construction of the solar plants. Moreover, the plants are designed to support operations of Occidental in West Texas, including its STRATOS Direct Air Capture facility. Collectively, the three solar plants account for infrastructure investments exceeding $650 million in the region.

In January 2026, Origis Energy and Meta entered into a long-term power purchase agreement for the Greyhound A solar project located in West Odessa, Texas. The project has a capacity of 303 MWdc, equivalent to 240 MWac, and is scheduled to reach commercial operations by mid-2026.
