Panamint Capital has commenced construction of 1.2 GWdc Big Rooter Power solar project. The project is located at the Twin Oaks power station in Robertson County, Texas. The project represents an investment of $1.7 billion.  The 491 MWdc Big Rooter West phase is under construction and is expected to commence operations in August 2028, while the 658 MWdc Big Rooter East phase is expected to commence construction in December 2026 and come online in August 2029. 

Furthermore, SOLV Energy will serve as the EPC contractor for the project, while First Solar will supply around two million domestically manufactured solar modules and Nextpower will provide its NX Horizon solar tracker systems for the project. Upon completion of the project, the Twin Oaks complex will comprise 1.5 GW of thermal and renewable capacity, 1.6 GWh of battery storage, over 20 miles of new 345 kV transmission infrastructure, and a 790 MW data center campus under development.

In December 2025, Panamint Capital LLC signed a 15-year tolling agreement with Northern States Power Co. for the Cottage Grove battery energy storage project located in Washington County, Minnesota. The project has an installed capacity of 80-MW/320-MWh and is co-located with the 265 MW Cottage Grove Cogeneration facility. Commercial operations  for the project are scheduled to commence in June 2028.
