RWE has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Breedon Group in Great Britain. Under the agreement, RWE will provide around 70 GWh of renewable power annually to Breedon’s operations. The power will initially be supplied from the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm located in the Irish Sea. From 2033 onwards, the power will be supplied from the Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm located in Wales. The renewable electricity will support production of aggregates, asphalt, concrete, cement, and other building materials and will help Breedon reduce Scope 2 emissions.

In February 2026, RWE entered into an agreement with Vestas for the supply of offshore wind turbines for the Vanguard West project in the UK. Under the agreement, Vestas will supply, deliver, and commission 92 of V236-15.0 MW offshore turbines. The contract follows the project securing a Contract for Difference in Allocation Round 7 and the establishment of a partnership between RWE and KKR to jointly develop the Vanguard projects.

In February 2026, RWE and Amazon entered into a PPA for 110 MW of offshore wind capacity from the Nordseecluster B project in Germany. The PPA builds on a strategic framework agreement signed in June 2025, under which RWE supports Amazon’s carbon-free energy objectives, while Amazon Web Services provides cloud services, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to support RWE’s digital transformation efforts.
