Sineng Electric has been successfully in bringing online a 150 MW/300 MWh energy storage system in Guangxi, China. This standalone facility has been fully integrated into the grid. It has already been operational for over six months. The system features battery storage containers, a 4 MW central power conversion system, and a 220 kV booster station.
Furthermore, the system’s phase change heat dissipation technology ensures effective thermal management, contributing to its long lifespan and outstanding performance. Additionally, the PCS is equipped with an IP65 protection rating, making it reliable even in harsh environmental conditions. Its modular design at the component level not only facilitates easier maintenance but also enhances system availability.
This 150 MW/300 MWh energy storage facility now plays a vital role in peak shaving, helping to balance electricity supply and demand.
