Sungrow has partnered with GOLDBECK SoLAR on a utility-scale solar project in Poland, alongside an agreement for a battery energy storage system (BESS) pipeline. The solar framework spans Dobrowo, Kikowo and Sidlowo, Poland. The solar project has an installed capacity of 722 MWp while the BESS pipeline is of 1 GWh capacity. Sungrow will supply 1+X utility inverters and medium-voltage solutions for the project.
In July 2026, Sungrow commissioned the 100 MW/400 MWh Santong BESS in Terengganu, Malaysia. It is owned and developed by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Sungrow supplied 90 PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled BESS units along with its facility energy management system for the project. The project also successfully completed a 100 MW full-power discharge test.
In May 2026, Sungrow and Masdar signed an agreement to supply a BESS and PV inverter solutions for the UAE’s gigascale round-the-clock renewable energy project. The project, being developed by Masdar and Emirates Water and Electricity Company, will combine 5.2 GW of solar PV with a 19 GWh BESS. Under the agreement, Sungrow will provide 7.5 GWh of PowerTitan 3.0 ESS and 2.6 GW of PV inverter solutions.
