Google and DTE join forces for 2.7 GW clean power data centre in Michigan

Google has partnered with DTE Energy to develop a new data centre in Michigan, supported by a commitment to enable 2.7 GW of new clean energy resources for the local grid. The project is structured to supply round-the-clock clean power directly to the grid, with a site in Van Buren township currently under evaluation. The data centre’s electricity demand will be met through solar power and advanced energy storage technologies.
