Enfinity Global sells minority stake in 402 MW solar portfolio to SOFAZ

The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has entered into an agreement with Enfinity Global. Under the agreement, SOFAZ will acquire a 49 per cent equity interest in a 402 MW portfolio of solar photovoltaic plants in Italy from Enfinity Global. The remaining 51 per cent will be retained by Enfinity Global, and it will be the long-term asset manager. The portfolio consists of 14 solar power plants across the Lazio and Emilia-Romagna regions.

Enfinity Global sells stake in 380 MW BESS projects in US and Italy

Enfinity Global has sold 49 per cent stake in two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects to Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure Ltd. (DEI). The projects have a total capacity of 380 MW. Enfinity Global will retain a 51 per cent controlling stake and will complete the development, construction, and serve as the long-term asset manager for the two projects. The first project is a 250 MW BESS with a two-hour duration and 500 MWh capacity.

Enfinity Global adds 425 MW of BESS projects to its portfolio in US

Enfinity Global has expanded its battery energy storage systems (BESS) portfolio through two new projects in Texas. These projects have a total power capacity of 425 MW. Construction of these projects is expected to commence in the second and fourth quarters of 2025. These new additions will bring the company’s total BESS pipeline in US to 6.6 GW. Furthermore, these projects have a combined capacity of 850 MWh and a two-hour duration.

Enfinity Global purchases 400 MW solar project portfolio in US

Enfinity Global, a Spanish renewable energy company, has purchased Capital Dynamics’ 400 MW utility-scale solar portfolio in the US. The deal, which was first disclosed in September 2022, includes 28 operational solar energy generating facilities spread across California, North Carolina, and Idaho. The portfolio can produce 1,175 GWh of renewable energy yearly, enough to power up to 64,000 homes, while removing 508,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Enfinity Global has announced a definitive agreement with Capital Dynamics (advised by Barclays) to acquire a 400 MW utility-scale solar portfolio in the US, consisting 28 operational solar PV power plants in California, North Carolina and Idaho. The portfolio reached COD within the last five years and holds long-term power purchase agreements with high-quality utility off-takers.
