Uniper and Respect Energy have signed 6-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for renewable electricity and guarantees of origin (GoOs) from four new solar projects. The projects include the Pakość, Kłodawa, Domanowo, and Krotoszyce solar facilities, all located in Poland. These projects have a combined installed capacity of 219 MWp.
Under the agreement, Respect Energy will purchase both the solar electricity and its associated renewable energy certificates (GoOs). The agreement supports Uniper’s renewable energy expansion following its December 2025 investment decision to develop additional solar projects in Poland and the UK.
In June 2026, Uniper signed a 10-year PPA with Skyborn Renewables to procure 100 MW of electricity from the 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore wind project in the German Baltic Sea. The agreement will commence after the project’s commercial operation date, with an option to extend the contract term.
In February 2026, Uniper and NKT signed a 10-year PPA for electricity from Uniper’s 17.2 MWp Voslapper Groden solar park in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Under the agreement, NKT will purchase 100 per cent of the plant’s renewable electricity and all associated guarantees of origin. The renewable power will support NKT’s production facilities in Nordenham and Cologne in Germany.
