Voltalia has fully commissioned the Bolobedu solar farm project which is located in Limpopo province, South Africa. The project has a total installed capacity of 148 MW, and is part of a long-term corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA) with Richards Bay Minerals (RBM). The farm will supply around 300 GWh on an annual basis which is equivalent to the yearly electricity consumption of 425,000 inhabitants. It will also help offset 237,000 carbon emissions annually.

In January 2026, Voltalia was awarded a 132 MW solar project in the Gabès region of south-east Tunisia by the Tunisian government. Construction of the Wadi solar project is scheduled to begin in 2027, with commissioning planned for 2028. With the addition of the Wadi project, Voltalia’s total solar capacity in Tunisia that is planned to move into the construction phase has reached nearly 400 MW.

In January 2026, Voltalia commenced construction of the Artemisya hybrid energy cluster in Uzbekistan, covering battery storage and the first phase of wind capacity. The initial phase includes a 100 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system project and a 100 MW wind project. The entire Artemisya cluster is planned to comprise 126 MW of solar capacity, 300 MW of wind capacity, and 100 MW/200 MWh of battery storage.
