Yanara has secured a €150 million investment from Mirova to accelerate the development of its utility-scale renewable energy portfolio in Australia. The funding will support more than 2 GW of solar, wind and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. A significant share of this investment will be directed to the Yanara’s Mortlake Energy hub in Victoria.

Furthermore, the  Mortlake Energy hub comprises 450 MW solar and 600 MW/2,400 MWh BESS, being developed across two stages. The first phase of the project is preparing to enter construction. The project will generate clean electricity to power approximately 200,000 homes while offsetting an expected 880,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Yanara is currently developing over 5.1 GW of renewable energy projects across Australia, India and the Philippines.

In February 2026, Mirova and Evecon announced key milestones for their jointly owned Baltic Renewable Energy Platform (BREP). This includes the addition of a 55 MW/250 MWh battery energy storage system to the 77.5 MWp Kirikmäe Solar PV plant in Estonia. The partners have also signed a flexibility & power purchase agreement (FPPA) with Pure Energy GmbH. In addition, BREP has also secured approximately €85 million in long-term financing from Swedbank.
