Yinson Holdings Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary Yinson Renewables Pte Ltd, is collaborating with Verano Capital Holdings SpA for developing renewable energy projects in Latin America. The initial pipeline will consist of 800 MW of utility scale solar projects spread across Chile, Colombia, and Peru. In fact, 330 MW of the total capacity is expected to be finalized within the next 6 to 12 months. Further, construction of the first 100 MW is expected to begin within the next 6 months

Founded in 2012, Verano is a Chile-based renewable energy developer involved in sourcing, providing initial investments, and developing renewable energy projects in Latin America. Its existing portfolio comprises of more than 1 GW of assets, with 23 sold projects in operation.
