Zelestra has secured a $113 million project financing credit facility for its 81 MWdc Jasper County Solar Project in Jasper County, Indiana. The project already has a long-term environmental attributes purchase agreement (EAPA) with Meta. The project is expected to be fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2025. Furthermore, Banco Santander was the sole arranger of the facility which has been designated as green financing under Zelestra’s Green Financing Framework. .

Backed by EQT, the company has a project pipeline of nearly 7 GW consisting of solar and BESS projects in US, it has over 1 GW of fully contracted projects that are advancing towards construction over the next two years in the US itself. It has a portfolio of 29 GW of carbon-free projects in 13 countries.

In March 2025, Zelestra and Abastible inked a long-term PPA for the sale of electricity from 100 per cent renewable sources. Under this agreement, the companies will utilise a tailor-made energy solution that consists of a 220 MWdc solar PV plant and a 1 GWh battery energy storage system.

REGlobal’s Views: Zelestra has six partnerships in total with Meta across the US that support Meta’s efforts to match their electricity usage with 100% clean energy. Meta has been expanding its renewable power procurement to power its data center operations across the country.
