ACCIONA Energía has completed the sale of its operational wind asset portfolio in Spain to Galp New Energies. The portfolio has a total installed capacity of 361 MW. The transaction covers 15 wind farms situated across the Spanish provinces of Navarra, Zaragoza, Ciudad Real, Palencia, Guadalajara and Seville.

The assets were sold for an equity value of €432 million, excluding financial debt. Moreover, the divested assets have an average operating age of 21 years. The transaction was signed and completed simultaneously, with the full proceeds received at closing. ACCIONA Energía expects to record an estimated capital gain of €255 million from the sale.

In December 2025, ACCIONA Energía entered into an agreement with Mexico Infrastructure Partners for the sale of a 49 per cent stake in its 1.3 GW solar portfolio in US, along with the complete divestment of two wind projects in Mexico with a combined capacity of 321 MW. The transaction has an equity value of approximately €855 million. As part of the agreement, the company will continue to hold a 51 per cent controlling interest in the US solar assets.
