New York State approves the expanded Clean Energy Standard for achieving 70 per cent renewables by 2030
New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced an expansion of the Clean Energy Standard as approved by the New York State Public Service Commission. With this, the state has the authority to issue Request for Proposals for renewable power deployment so as to help in achieving the goals laid out in New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, or CLCPA.
