Epsilon acquires LFP cathode technology center in Germany

Epsilon Advanced Materials (EAM) finalised the acquisition of a lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) cathode active material technology center in Moosburg, Germany. With the purchase, EAM is poised to make India the first country in Asia outside of China to manufacture LFP cathode materials. Amazon signs agreement with Engie to procure 473 MW renewable energy from wind farm

Amazon has inked a corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA) with Engie to secure the 473 MW output of the Moray West offshore wind farm in Scotland. Corsica Sole to construct hydrogen pilot plant in Corsica

Corsica Sole announced plans to build the first green hydrogen manufacturing facility on the French island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea. The proposal was recently revealed ahead of the Hyvolution 2024 show in France and has already gotten regulatory clearance. Iberdrola to install 150 MW of BESS at solar farms in Spain

Iberdrola plans to add six BESS stations with a combined capacity of 150 MW to boost Spain’s energy storage capacity. EDPR NA to begin operations at 297 MW Canadian wind farm

EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) and EDP Renewables Canada (EDPR Canada) have started operations at the 297 MW Sharp Hills wind farm in Sedalia and New Bridgen in Alberta, Canada. The power will be supplied to TC Energy, a Calgary-based company that operates in natural gas, oil, and power. The launch of the Sharp Hills wind farm follows a memorandum of understanding between EDPR NA and the Invest Alberta Corporation. A C$600 million investment was made to build the wind farm.

Qualitas Energy acquires 96 MW wind project pipeline in Germany
