Cypress Creek Renewables has closed financing and begun construction on the 505 MWdc, or 396 MWac, Hanson solar project in Coleman County, Texas. The solar project will supply power to Meta under a long-term power purchase agreement. Financing was secured through a mix of preferred equity and debt. The preferred equity commitment was provided by funds managed by an unnamed global credit asset manager overseeing more than $350 billion in assets.

Debt facilities were arranged through MUFG Ltd. and SMBC. Construction was mobilised earlier in 2025, with The Industrial Company serving as the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor for the project. Furthermore, the project is targeted for commercial operation by mid 2027. It is expected to contribute to local economic activity, with more than $80 million in tax revenue over its operating period, along with creating an estimated 300 jobs during the construction phase.

Earlier in October 2025, Cypress Creek Renewables achieved financial close for the Sundance solar and energy storage project in Elbert County, Colorado featuring a 75 MWac solar plant with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery storage. The project secured approximately $190 million in construction financing from a consortium consisting of BNP Paribas, DNB Bank ASA, and Santander, with MUFG Bank serving as the coordinating lead arranger, and Fifth Third Bank providing tax equity investment.
