Eolian has commenced construction of the Flint Grid Project located in Licking County, Ohio. The project includes a 200 MW grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS). The project is also located adjacent to the New Albany data centre and industrial load, and will provide more than five hours of energy storage.

Furthermore, the project has qualified for the PJM capacity market and the 2027/28 PJM Residual Capacity Auction. The project has also secured approval from the Ohio Power Siting Board. The project accounts for over 50 per cent of all new BESS capacity cleared for the 2027/28 capacity year. The project is expected to commence operations ahead of the 2027-2028 PJM capacity year.

In October 2025, Eolian secured a $463 million financing package, arranged by Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, to advance the construction of its Padua 2 and Padua 3 battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Bexar County, Texas. The financing includes construction, term loan, and letter of credit facilities, ensuring both projects progress on schedule for commissioning between winter and spring 2026.
