GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Greenvolt International Power to supply, install, and commission wind turbines for the 252 MW Ialomiţa wind farm in Romania. As per the agreement, GE Vernova will supply 42 onshore wind turbines rated at 6.1 MW each. Once operational, the wind farm is expected to generate enough electricity to meet the annual consumption of over 110,000 households and businesses in Romania. The agreement was finalised in the third quarter of 2025, with turbine deliveries expected to commence in 2026.
In September 2025, GE Vernova signed an agreement with Enertrag to supply seven 5.5 MW–158 m turbines for the Bonacker wind farm in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The turbines, manufactured at GE Vernova’s Salzbergen facility, were booked in the second quarter of 2025.
In the same month, GE Vernova signed an agreement with Prokon Regenerative Energien eG to repower a wind farm in the Fleetmark community, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, with eight 6 MW–164 m turbines manufactured at its Salzbergen facility. The deal was booked in the second quarter of 2025.
