Generate Capital has closed a term debt facility of $117 million with MUFG to finance its Community Solar Fund 11. The fund comprises 18 community solar projects totalling 114 MWdc across Illinois and New York. The transaction follows the company securing approximately $1.4 billion in financing commitments during the first half of 2026, including financing for a 104 MW community solar portfolio with Monarch Private Capital and a $61 million senior secured US private placement. 

In July 2026, PureSky Energy secured $183.7 million in investment-grade refinancing for its operating community solar portfolio in the US. The transaction combines eight debt portfolios into a single financing structure.The portfolio includes 211 MWdc of solar capacity and 58 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS). The portfolio spans across 43 projects in Massachusetts, New York and Minnesota. 

In October 2025, Generate Capital closed an $85 million tax equity commitment with SOLCAP for its Fund X. The financing will support eight community solar projects totalling 38 MWdc across New York and Illinois. The project will commence commercial operations between the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.
