Econergy has acquired Escofi, a French wind energy platform for €134.3 million. The platform has a portfolio of 740 MW, including 128 MW operational, 34 MW under construction, 147 MW in advanced development and 432 MW in early and mid-stage development, with the projects concentrated in France’s Hauts-de-France and Grand Est regions. Escofi has an effective project ownership of approximately 91 per cent.

Furthermore, Escofi’s 309 MW portfolio of operational, under-construction and advanced-development projects is expected to generate €59-65 million in revenue annually and €47-53 million in EBITDA. By 2030, the company’s operational capacity is estimated to reach approximately 300 MW. More than 90 per cent of Escofi’s operational and under-construction capacity also benefits from 20-year contracted revenues under France’s contract-for-difference regime.

In August 2026, Econergy signed financing agreements of approximately €229 million for its Părău 2 hybrid project in Romania. The project combines a 342 MWp solar plant with a 150 MW co-located battery energy storage system (BESS). The project is currently under construction and is expected to commence operations in late 2027 or early 2028. Financing close of the project is expected to be completed by November 2026.
