Greenvolt Power has raised € 284 million in project financing for its 253.1 MW wind project in Gurbănești, located east of Bucharest, Romania. The project is currently under construction and is expected to begin commercial operations by the end of 2027. It will comprise 42 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.1 MW. The financing has been arranged through a syndicate of eight financial institutions: UniCredit S.p.A., Erste Group Bank AG, Banca Comercială Română S.A., Siemens Financial Services through Siemens Bank, Société Générale, BRD, ING Bank N.V., and Alpha Bank S.A.

In September 2026, Greenvolt Power commenced construction of the Siedlce battery energy storage system (BESS) in Poland. The project has an installed capacity of 600 MW/2.4 GWh and is part of Greenvolt’s 4.6 GW probability-weighted BESS pipeline, including around 2.4 GW in Poland. Commercial operations for the project are targeted by the end of 2027.
