International Finance Corporation (IFC) has announced plans to finance OCI Terra Sus Sdn. Bhd.’s manufacturing plant in Malaysia. Under the arrangement, IFC will finance the facility through a loan of approximately $125 million. The manufacturing facility, established through a joint venture with Tokuyama Corporation of Japan and located in Bintulu, Sarawak, will be powered by clean and renewable energy and will produce raw materials for silicon wafers and semiconductor chips.

In March 2026, IFC announced financing support for Petroquímica Comodoro Rivadavia S.A. for the development and construction of the Olavarría wind farm in the Buenos Aires province of Argentina. The total project cost is reported at $275 million. It involves the installation of 29 wind turbines supplied by Vestas, with a total installed capacity of 185.6 MW.

In February 2026, IFC committed $25 million in equity to Seraya Partners Fund II, a private equity infrastructure fund managed by Seraya Partners. The fund is aimed at addressing infrastructure gaps across emerging markets in Southeast Asia. Key target markets include Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
