Novar and Westermeerweg Zon Holding have reached financial close for the 148 MWp Westermeerdijk Solar Park in the Netherlands. The project is situated beneath existing wind turbines and also benefits from grid connection to the Netaansluiting Noordwest Zon substation. The project ownership will be split equally between Novar and Westermeerweg Zon Holding.
In May 2026, Novar acquired the Vallée de la Woëvre agrivoltaic portfolio in northeastern France, representing up to 92 MWp of solar capacity. The projects combine renewable energy generation with a local high-quality beef production initiative. Originally developed by Impulsion Groupe, the portfolio was acquired in December 2025 and will be jointly advanced by Novar and Impulsion. Novar will serve as project owner, while Impulsion will continue managing development under a services agreement.
In April 2026, Novar acquired the 100 MWp Untermünkheim solar project portfolio in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The development also has the potential to include a 160 MWh co-located battery energy storage system. Originally developed by Stromernte GmbH, the portfolio was acquired by Novar in late 2025, with Novar retaining full ownership and development responsibility. Stromernte will continue supporting the projects under a development services agreement.
