Repsol has completed construction of its Frye Solar project which has a total installed capacity of 637 MW and 570 MW currently in operation. The project was built near the city of Kress, Swisher County, Texas.

Furthermore, Frye Solar comprises almost one million solar panels. The company has already inked a long-term power purchase agreement for 89 per cent of the output from this project as part of its strategy to lock in returns for this type of asset.

In January 2024, Repsol commissioned its Sigma solar project in Andalusia, Spain. This project is made up of five solar plants with a total installed capacity of 204 MW. It is located in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). The Arco 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 make up the Sigma project with an investment of close to €150 million.
