Taaleri Energia, through its SolarWind III Fund and KJK Fund III, has invested in the Raudsepa battery energy storage system (BESS) located in Estonia. The project has an installed capacity of 192 MW/420 MWh. The project construction will commence in September 2026 and will reach full operation by November 2027.
Furthermore, the project, developed by Evecon and Corsica Sole, will feature LG Energy Solution batteries and Power Electronics inverters. The project construction and installation is being undertaken by Smartecon on a turnkey basis. The project will capture value from electricity arbitrage and ancillary services markets.
In January 2026, Taaleri Energia’s Taaleri SolarWind III Fund, reached its final close with €630 million in total commitments. The fund focuses on utility-scale onshore wind, solar, and BESS assets across the Nordics, Baltics, Poland, Southeast Europe, Spain, and Texas. The fund’s portfolio includes a 36 MWh operational BESS in Finland, 50 development projects totaling 7 GW while its under-construction pipeline features a 200 MWh BESS in Texas, a 154 MW wind project in Serbia, a 129 MWp solar park in Finland, a 112 MW wind farm in Latvia, and a hybrid wind-plus-storage site (45 MW / 36 MWh) in Lithuania.
